Councillors have been informed of upcoming works to Bramhall Lane South, at the junction of Fir Road and Ramsdale Road.
As part of the Council's work to investing in the borough's economic growth, funding is being used to improve roads and footpaths. As part of the programme, the Council will be carrying out carriageway resurfacing works on a section of Bramhall Lane South, Bramhall at the junction with Fir Road & Ramsdale Road.
The work is scheduled to commence on the 11th October 2021 and should take up to two days to complete, work will be carried out between the hours of 9.30am and 2:30pm. This is subject to the necessary approvals and weather-permitting.
To carry out this work, traffic flows will be managed using temporary traffic signals along with a temporary prohibition of traffic order on Fir Road and Ramsdale Road at their junctions with Bramhall Lane South. This is to minimise disruption and to allow safe working operations to take place.
The attached letter will be delivered to residents on the route affected.
